Way too often we find ourselves looking at websites for manufacturing companies that don’t properly reflect how interesting their products are and the importance of the services they provide. So we were so excited to partner with Precision Technology to completely redesign their brand and identity and redesign their website. We got to prove that industrial can be chic!
Precision Technology is pretty much as industrial as a company gets. They are an investment casting foundry located in the Greater Philadelphia Metropolitan Area that specializes in making metal parts for large machinery. From the start though, we worked with them on a vision to capture the manufacturing process—which is quite interesting—and bring it to life through amazing visuals and an engaging interactive experience.
Throughout the website redesign we worked closely with them to strategize the type of content that would best engage with current and future customers as well as help them stand out among their competitors. The site also depends heavily on custom photography by Hoffer Photography of their facilities and employees. Its a great example of how amazing photography can really make all the difference in the design of a website to bring the content to life.
The site was designed in the WordPress Content Management System and includes many highly-customized features including several template variations, sliders, image galleries and an interactive employee showcase section.
