After 14 years of helping clients expand their brands, we realized it was time to give our own trusted brand a fresh new look. Our rebrand reflects not just where Wyndetryst has been, but where we—and our clients—are headed next.

When I first started Wyndetryst over 14 years ago, I had no idea where it would lead. Like many designers just starting out, I took on any project that came my way, building on my 5+ years of experience in higher education marketing and working with growing businesses as freelance clients. Then, within a few months of launching, I landed my first major client—a life sciences company. Little did I know that one client would lay the foundation for not only building my business but also developing a deep expertise in the life sciences and healthcare industries.

Fast forward 14 years, and we’ve gone from that scrappy startup mentality to a fully fledged design studio, specializing in graphic design, website design, and presentation design, all under the umbrella of “Expanding Your Brand.” We’ve built a robust network in the life sciences space, working with clients in diagnostics, medtech, medical devices, and biotechnology. Our understanding of the various audiences in this field—from physicians to patients, investors, and key opinion leaders—has been a key part of our success. But don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten our roots! We continue to work with nonprofits, educational institutions, and growing businesses, offering the same passion and expertise that fueled us from the beginning.

So, why rebrand now? Well, let me let you in on a little secret: like many design studios, we were so busy focusing on our clients that our own brand fell to the wayside. The truth is, we were long overdue for a refresh. And as many of our clients can relate, it’s not easy elevating your brand on your own. We found ourselves in the same position as many of the clients we serve—needing help to elevate and expand but with no one to turn to but ourselves.

We took this rebrand on like we do with our clients. We researched, analyzed, and soul-searched to figure out how we wanted to present ourselves, both visually and in our messaging. We took a good look at the competition and worked hard to differentiate ourselves in a crowded market. And then came the fun part—choosing fonts and color palettes! Let’s just say, my team got a little tired of the endless options I wanted to explore, but when we finally landed on the right combination, it just clicked. Our new logo is bold, fresh, and energetic, while still conveying the clean sophistication we’ve become known for. And the color palette? Let’s just say we almost went with bright orange (yes, really), but in the end, we opted for a tried-and-true blue that represents the boldness and calmness we aim to bring to our client relationships.

One of the most important aspects of our rebrand was revisiting our messaging. This was perhaps the hardest part—after all, we’re not the type to toot our own horn. But we knew we had to be clear about who we are and what we do. That’s why our new site welcomes you with a simple, powerful message: “Expand Your Brand.” This is the core of what we do. Our clients often come to us with a brand they’ve been working with for months, sometimes years, but they’ve hit a wall trying to figure out how to take it to the next level. That’s where we come in. We help them build upon what they already have, taking their brand to new heights.

We’ve also been intentional about refining how we communicate what we do and who we do it for. Just like we coach our clients to carve out their niche, we’ve done the same.
