Visit Our Table at Mount Airy Day – May 7

Are you dying to meet us in person! Well here’s your chance. Wyndetryst is excited to be participating in the 41st Annual Mt. Airy Day event on Saturday, May 7 and sharing a table with the talented Angie Smith, a fabulous jewelry designer. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the grounds of Cliveden of the National Trust at 6400 Germantown Avenue, Phila., PA 19119.

For those of you who are not familiar with the event or perhaps not even Mount Airy, it is a wonderful day where many of the business’s and residents in the Mount Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia get together for a day celebrating community. This is our first year participating in this event as we only moved to the neighborhood in March. Looking forward to meeting all the great people of Northwest Philadelphia and beyond. Oh—while you’re there be sure to check out the booths of Rhino Chiropractic and Azima Therapeutic Massage. They’re our office buddies and do great work as well.

Wyndetryst Design to Participate in 13th Annual AIGA Feedback

Matt Wolf of Wyndetryst Design & Photography is excited to be participating in the 13th Annual Feedback event for the AIGA Philadelphia chapter. Feedback is one of our favorite events, held annually, to give graduating seniors in college a chance to show off their design portfolios and get some feedback on their work from professional studios. Looking forward to meeting a bunch of up-and-coming designers who will be paving the way for the future of our industry.

Recruitment Ad Campaign for OneChip Photonics Attracts Top-Notch Candidates

Wyndetryst Design & Photography has recently begun collaborating with OneChip Photonics, a technology company in the fiber-optic industry. OneChip is expanding and needed to attract some top quality applicants from the Ottawa, Canada area where they are headquartered. Wyndetryst worked with OneChip to design an ad that appeared for several days in the Ottawa Citizen and the Ottawa Sun’s print and online additions. In 12 days since the recruiting ads ran, over 80 resumes were received from top-notch candidates leading to the filling of 5 new engineering positions.

“The advertising campaign appears to have been a success in boosting our pipeline of quality candidates and raising our visibility in Ottawa as one of the few-start ups that are growing” says Steve Bauer, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at OneChip.
